AEL is a social enterprise and charity, providing live work experience, education and support for those aged 16+ with additional needs, including learning disability, autism, aspergers and other health related conditions. We do this via our training programmes and our businesses such as Lunchbox Cafe, Naggy Burn Garden Centre and Allotments, Online retail such as Candyrush and Creategifts.com. We also complete sub contract work for leading companies such as Spirit Aerospace, Brett Martin, Kilwaughter Minerals and IPC Mouldings. AEL is about supporting those with additional needs to reach their full potential, alongside bringing social value to the local community. AEL also offers social and recreational activities, for example we run a Community Shed project, which facilitates hobby and recreational courses 3 times per year, to anyone within the local community and our fortnightly social club for those aged 16+ with additional needs is a a safe environment to come and meet new friends.
