Antrim Coast Lions Club

Antrim Coast Lions Club is a member of Lions Club International which is a worldwide voluntary service organization. We are a cross-community, well established club based in Carnlough with a membership of 26. Our ethos is ‘We Serve’ and all our activities are undertaken to improve and strengthen our community. We fund raise all year round but our major projects are our Charity Shop and our Summer Carnival which runs over eight days at the end of July/beginning of August. We like to involve the local youth by encouraging them to volunteer during our carnival week. We aim to meet the unique needs of our local communities at home and internationally through volunteer work and donations. The funds we raise are used on projects, both within our own area, and internationally. These include activities such as village clean-ups, Christmas parcels for senior citizens, Christmas lighting and Xmas gifts for school children in Glenarm and Carnlough. We support local community groups and sporting organisations with donations to their clubs, as well as send donations to major disaster appeals around the world.
